The “Eurasia Cycling Trip” will take place in Istanbul on Sunday, 28th of April 2013.
This is a unique event, occurring once a year. Only on this day, bikers will have the chance to ride on two continents crossing the world famed Bosphorus Bridge, which normally is closed to bikes and pedestrians.
The “Eurasia Cycling Trip” is a parallel amateur event to the Presidential Cycling Tour of Turkey, whose final stage will take place in Istanbul on the same day. The amateur race will start right after the professional cyclists will have crossed the bridge.

The starting point is at Yahya Kemal Park, located in Barbaros Avenue, on the European side of the city. Following the Istanbul Highway, the bikers will cross the Bosporus Bridge and get to the Asian side. Then, passing next to the Fenerbahçe Stadium, they will reach Caddebostan Park and, riding along the waterfront, get to the finish line.

In order to participate, the cyclists have to register online on the official webpage of the event, paying a fee of 20 TL. The registration fees will be donated to TESYEV (The Disabled Sports Support and Education Foundation) by SPOR AS.

The Eurasia Cycling Trip is organized by Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality in cooperation with Presidential Cycling Tour of Turkey, Spor
A.S. and the Consulate General of the Netherlands.

The staff of Istanbul On Bike will take part to this unmissable race. We hope to see you there!
